Tattoo Removal
Tattoo removal is to remove the original pattern on the body through certain technical means. The pigment in the tattoo is usually implanted in the dermis, so it is permanent and cannot disappear by itself. When a laser is applied to the affected area, the energy of the laser breaks the pigment particles into tiny fragments. Pigment metabolism is completed through skin scab removal, or through blood circulation and cell phagocytosis.This method does not destroy the rest of the skin tissue and leaves no scars after surgery. It is the preferred method for treating tattoos.
The laser used to remove the tattoo is 1064nm and 532nm
1064nm wavelength can effectively remove blue, black and cyan pigmentation;
532nm wavelength can effectively remove colorful pigmentation
It usually takes 4-8 laser treatments to successfully remove the tattoo.The exact number of treatments depends on the age of the tattoo, the patient's pain tolerance and skin type and genetic factors, as well as the type of ink used.
